Charles Wesley Stevenson, age 75, son of the late Reverend John R. and Lillie Mae Stevenson, was born on April 10, 1932, in Columbia, South Carolina. He departed this life on Thursday, February 21, 2008. He leaves to celebrate his memory; five children, Charles Wesley Stevenson II, Gardenia Stevenson, Darius Stevenson and wife, Mary, Valerie Stevenson, and Terry Stevenson; brother, Dr. and Mrs. John R. (Mattie) Stevenson; a devoted friend, and mother of his children, Rosalie Stevenson; five grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Services will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Wyoming Chapel, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE; the Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008, from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 29, 2008, at 12:00 p.m., with interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
