Elizabeth "Betty" Saylor, 76, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County, passed away on February 23, 2008 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Saylor was born on February 11, 1932 to Luther "Tex" and Asela (Gradi) Mills of Albuquerque, NM. She attended Los Ranchos Grade School, St. Vincent Academy, Washington Jr. High School, and Albuquerque High. She worked as an Inspector for the Levi-Strauss Factory that was located on Aztec Road. Betty was very talented and her ceramic creations could be found at the 4th Street Ceramics. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas. Mrs. Saylor is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Stephen L. Saylor. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gilbert Saylor, Jr., of the family home; her children, Dave Saylor and his wife, Christine, of Bloomfield, NM, Loretta A. Buffalow and her husband, Johnny, and Roxanne Robustelli, all of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Jessica and David Saylor, Jenny Gonzales, J.B. Buffalow, Landon and Madelyn Martin, Gilbert and Stephen Buffalow, and Samantha Chavez; nine great-grandchildren; one sister; and two brothers. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. at the Palm Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque. The Rosary will be recited beginning at 6:00 p.m. following the Visitation. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Los Lunas Ave NE, Los Lunas with Father Douglas Mitchell presiding. Betty will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
