Edith E. Poore, 80, born in Turtle Lake, ND, and resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1949 passed to the other side on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. Edith was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of the Elks Ladies, Lodge 461. Edith loved making quilts, crocheting, oil painting and other arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her father Ferdinand Klain and her mother, Marie Seidler. Edith is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, James I. Poore; two daughters, Rita Marie, (Danny) Rogers and Joyce Ann; brothers, Albert (Lorraine), Edward (Carol) and Leonard (Shirley) Klain; sisters, Hilda Thiel, Elsie Fetzer, Ruth Walcker, and Jean (Herb) Offermann; six grandsons, Ryan, Joel, Robert, Jerod, Joshua, and James. Cremation has taken place with interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE. in Albuquerque, on Sunday, March 2nd 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Easton officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 or to your favorite charity.
