William H. Hensley "Bear" passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, February 22, 2008 one day before his 51st birthday. Bear was born to Robert O. and Nella M. Hensley on February 23, 1957. In 1975, was a graduate from Moriarty High School where he was involved in sports. Bear was a passionate motor cross racer and won many trophies, awards, and honors. He was the owner of Airtech HVAC. Motor cross enthusiasts and associates across the Country were held in high regard by Bear. Bear was preceded in death by his mother Nella M. Hensley on August 19, 2000. Bear is survived by his father, Robert O. Hensley of Moriarty, NM and sisters, Linda Anderson and husband Ellan of Moriarty, NM; and Karen Ford and husband Jim of Estancia, NM; nephews, Peter Ford and wife Dixie; Jonathan Anderson and wife Giovanna both of Moriarty, NM; nieces, Julie Ford of Albuquerque, NM; Stephanie Smith and husband Gordon of Dewey, OK; Crystal Anderson of Moriarty, NM; two great nephews; two great nieces; fiance Lil Hermes and her son Ryan Szabo whom he loved as a son. A viewing will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Funeral Services will follow Rev. H. Gordon Smith III and James H. Ford will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM. Casket bearers are his father Robert O. Hensley, Louie Guenther, L.T. Guenther, Peter Ford, Jonathan Anderson, Ellan Anderson, Stacy Cook, Teofillo Silva and Donald Willison. Honorary Casket bearers will be all of his Motor Cross Friends.
