Ivan Esquibel was called home to be with the Lord Jesus after a long courageous battle with colon cancer on Sunday, February 10, 2008. He was lifelong resident of Albuquerque; and the owner and operator of Ivan's Lock and Key Mobile Service. He was preceded in death by Sam Esquibel, Jimmy Esquibel, Joey, and Rocky. Ivan is survived by his loving wife, Anna (Garcia) Esquibel; Tanya Bachicha, Preston Jacobs Jr., Dominique Castillo, Sophie Esquibel, Stella Lemke, Doretta Salazar, Doreen Castillo, Connie Armijo, Isabel Esquibel, Ed Joiner, Brian Trino, the Lucero, Garcia, and Romero families; as well as many other family members and friends. Ivan will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The Esquibel family will be receiving relatives and friends Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday morning at 8:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Services at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
