Eralda L. Ulibarri, 87 Santa Rosa, NM died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM following an illness. Mrs. Ulibarri was born November 19, 1920 in Duran, NM the daughter of Moises and Marillita (Duran) Sanchez. She attended school at Vaughn and Santa Rosa. She married Daniel Ulibarri on February 4, 1939 at Conchas, NM. They made their home in Santa Rosa. Mrs. Ulibarri was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa where she taught C.C.D. for several years in the 1940's. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Daniel Ulibarri in May 13, 1991; two brothers Speedy Sanchez and Inez A. Sanchez. Survivors include a daughter, Etta Chavez and husband, Lou of Santa Rosa, NM; a granddaughter, Elitta Chavez of Santa Rosa; two grandsons, Edwin Chavez and wife Mary of Albuquerque; Elvin Chavez and wife Vicky of Rio Rancho, NM and a brother, Lorenzo "Tudy" Sanchez of Santa Rosa. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Evan Gutierrez, Sarah Chavez, Morgan Chavez and Gabriel Chavez and a sister-in-law, Mary Sanchez of Albuquerque. Rosary Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2008 from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, NM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated from the church at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2008 with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Pallbearers will include Gene Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Dennis Chavez, Tiofilo Chavez, Rudy Velasquez, Chris Griego, John Perea, Ray Valencia, Danny Gomez and Eric Sanchez. Honorary bearers will include Michael Sanchez, Secundino Rivera, Herman Sanchez, Erminio Chavez, Sotero Sanchez, Orlando Sanchez, Leopoldo Sanchez, Evan Gutierrez, Sarah Chavez, Morgan Chavez and Gabriel Chavez.
