Alonzo Bonifacio Tixier August 01,1922 - February 01, 2008. Husband, Father, Grandfather and even Santa. Born in Bueyeos, New Mexico, and a resident of Fort Morgan, Colorado for the last 3 years. Alonzo was a WWll veteran and a man of many talents, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family. Survived by Maria "Peggy" Tixier, his wife of 61 years; their five children: Michael, David and spouse, Marcy, Marianna and spouse, Art Ramirez, Eileen, Tim and spouse, DeeAnn. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Alonzo is preceded in death by their eldest son Phillip Tixier. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday February 15, 2008 at 6:00 p.m., Church of the Holy Cross, 367 State Rd. 344 Edgewood, NM. 505-832-0737. In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to: Eben Ezer Care Center, 122 Hospital Road, Brush, Colorado 80723 in the name of Alonzo Tixier.
