Patricia Sue Higgins, 82, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 31, 2008. She is survived by a son, Gregg Higgins and his wife, Cheryl and grandsons, Holt, George, and James of Las Cruces; and a daughter, Melissa West and her husband, Greg of Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Higgins. Patricia was a former employee of Sandia Corporation, worked in the Tape Ministry of Hoffmantown Baptist Church, a Teacher Aide at Eastern Hills School, a member and onetime President of The Albuquerque, Garden Club, and a volunteer with The Assistance League of Albuquerque. She was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Hoffmantown Baptist Church, Sandia Baptist Church in Albuquerque and Holladay Baptist Church in Salt Lake City, UT. Services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Reverend Chris McRae of Calvary Baptist Church in Las Cruces officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Greg West, Dean Robinette, Shawn Robinette, Holt Higgins, George Higgins and James Higgins.
