Ida Rippberger, 83, slipped into the arms of the Lord, January 22, 2008. Her family was gathered around her bedside praying with her. Ida was born April 25, 1924 in Central, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Rippberger Jr. Together, Ida and Paul owned and operated Aiken Printing Co. in Albuquerque for many years. Ida is survived by her daughter, Paula Ray and husband, Keith, and their children, Gretchen and Dominic; her son, Michael Rippberger and wife , Carmel, and their children, Matthew and Jessica; her son, Charles and wife, Tracy, and their children, Sarah and Josh; her brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ida was affectionately called Nana and will always be remembered by her kids and grandkids for swimming parties, taco dinners, roses in the back yard, travel to fun and exotic places, her silk floral designs, golf (we kept her clubs), her Catholic faith, and her love and affection for all of us. Rosary will be held Monday, January 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. with reception following. All Services will be held at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr., NE. The family will gather for a private Rite of Committal later in the day.
