Obituary for GARCIA

Samuel Samniego Garcia, also known as "Pablito" age 84, of Albuquerque, NM, went to meet his maker on Tuesday, January 22, 2008. He was born on December 3, 1923, in Rincon, New Mexico where he met and married Rosa Roybal Garcia, who preceded him in death on July 21, 1966. Together they shared 11 children. Two of his children, Rita and Johnny Garcia preceded Samuel in death. He is survived by his five daughters, Virginia and husband, Chon; Elsie and late husband, Francisco; Julia and husband, Jesus; Beatrice and husband, Walker; Lucy and partner, Joe; and by four sons, Samuel II and wife, Tarcila, Herman and wife, Dorothy; Luis and wife, Theresa; Frank and partner, Evencio. His legacy also included 22 grandchildren: Rosa, Chonito, Samuel III, Sandra, Rosalie, Jimmy, Tony, Michael, Patricia, Laurie, Heather, Melissa, Frances, Monica, Christina, Bobby, Jennifer, Alicia, Grace, Melanie, Daniel, and Carima, and also 44 great- granchildren. Samuel is also survived by Sylvia McCoy, who shared many years of love, laughter, and memories, and her children: Emily, Orlando, Henry, Sammy, Gloria, and Lalo, whom are all loved and considered family. Samuel was also loved by one brother, two sisters, and many nieces and nephews, many of whom he is now reunited with. Samuel honorably served his country during World War II. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 24th, 2008 at Praise and Worship Center, 3044 Isleta SW, with a viewing at 6:30pm and a service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Mass and burial will be held on Friday, January 25th, 2008 in Hatch, New Mexico. Floral and food donations can be sent to Praise and Worship Center. Samuel, who was a wonderful "Dad", "Grandpa", and Great-Grandfather, will forever be remembered by his strength, sense of humor and "fiestiness". We love you.
