Mary Elizabeth Parsonese, 91, of Albuquerque, NM was received into God's loving arms Sunday, January 20, 2008. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She and her husband owned Mr. Paul's Drapery World and Parco Industries. She enjoyed gardening, reading, needlework, sports and traveling. She loved to make people laugh. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Peter and son, James. She is survived by her son, Peter Paul Parsonese II; daughter, Patricia Milner; grandchildren, Lisa Hickman, James Parsonese, Tim Parsonese, and Tracey Prieskorn; and six great-grandchildren. Her favorite Irish saying was: May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields and, Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at John XXIII Catholic Community with Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
