Obituary for LESAGE

Johanna Elizabeth VandenLangenberg Thomsen-LeSage died at her home on January 18, 2008, with her family by her side. Johanna was born May 30, 1920 to George and Louise (Linseen) VandenLangenberg. She was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin where she married Edward Thomsen October 28, 1944. They had two daughters, Sally and Linda. Ed died in 1954. In 1959 she married Robert LeSage. In 1968 they moved to Albuquerque for her health. She was a lady who always reached out to help others. She spent every day in prayer and knew that God was priority in her life. Johanna was truly a role model for people in her life. She is survived by her two daughters, Sally Reynen of Wisconsin and Linda Harris of New Mexico, four grandchildren; Lori (Mark) Reynen Jacobs of Wisconsin; Jean (Ken) Reynen VandenElzen of Wisconsin; Tracy (Shawn) Harris of NM; Tina (Duane) Harris Oldfield of NM, seven great-grandchildren; Cassi and Sammi Jacobs of Wisconsin; Taylor and Alexandra VandenElzen of Wisconsin; Skye and Daytonah Harris of NM; Travis Oldfield of NM; brothers and sisters, Ruth (Harry) Watermolen; Cliff (Ann) VandenLangenberg; Roland (Carol) VandenLangenberg, Nancy (Roger) Denis; Wilbert VandenLangenberg; Leona (Ronald) LeLou, sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Cecil VandenLangenberg, and many nieces and nephews, all of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; two brothers, Larry and Don; two sisters, Patsy and Betty (LeSage); and a sister-in-law, Karen. She will be truly missed by her family and friends. The family wants to extend a very special thank you to Hospice of New Mexico for their great care given to Johanna.
