Carmen S. Baca, 84, passed away on January 17, 2008. She was born on June 22, 1923, in Los Lunas, NM, to Demetrio and Ramoncita Sanchez. Carmen's passion in life was her family. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. She had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1956. Carmen is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Leandro; her children, Stella (Teddy) Sanchez and husband, George, Sam Baca and wife, Sharon, and David Baca, all of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Jennifer Asp and husband, David of Minnetonka, MN, and Adam Baca and wife, Jessica of Albuquerque, NM; and numerous other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Martha (Marty) Baca in 1962. Private family services will be held. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
