Stephen W. Keranen, born January 14, 1956 died January 4, 2008. Known to many as Uncle Steve, he spent the last ten years of his life as the loving caretaker of his father, mother and nephew. He graduated from Del Norte High School where he played the trumpet in the marching band. He attended UNM, loved the outdoors, animals and History. He was preceded in death by his father, Tauno E. Keranen. He is survived by his mother, June Keranen; sister, Norma Keranen and her husband, Tom Logan; brother, Robert B. Keranen; three nephews, and many loving cousins and friends. Services will be held at St. Luke Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2008, 9100 Menaul Blvd. NE near Moon and Menaul.
