CPT. Thomas John Casey, 32, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, January 3, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Anne; children, Joseph Casey, Michael Casey, Kathleen Lewis, and Kevin Lewis; mother, Patricia Casey; father, John Casey; and friend, Phyllis Schubert; brother, Jeffrey Casey and wife, Charlotte and their son, Noah. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Clara and Torsten Miller and Geraldine and Ambrose Casey. Thomas was born, raised, and educated in Albuquerque. Tom was a true warrior and a fierce competitor, participating in soccer, cross country, baseball and swimming. He was an amazing family man always placing the needs of his family before his own. Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE on Thursday, January 10, 2008, 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 11, 2008, 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
