Leroy E. Gutierrez, age 55, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2008. He was employed by the Los Lunas Public Schools as a Crossing Guard. Leroy was a very dedicated employee who loved his job very much. He liked listening to Oldies and Spanish music. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Leroy was a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Andronico Gutierrez; his mother, Amadita Gutierrez; and three brothers, Jesus, Jimmy and Michael Gutierrez. Leroy is survived by his four loving children, Daisy Gonzales and her husband, Valente of Albuqueque, Valerie Cordero of Los Lunas, Elroy Gutierrez of Los Lunas and Adrian Gutierrez and his wife, Amanda of Los Lunas; sister, Rosemary Gutierrez of Albuquerque; brother, Toby Gutierrez of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Johnathan, Amanda, Adam, Daniel, Alisha, Kayla and Dominique; three great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Charlene Gutierrez of Albuquerque. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 5:30 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A final visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt.
