Obituary for PULOS

John T. Pulos, 81, a resident of Los Alamos and Albuquerque since 1953, died Thursday, January 3, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Pulos; sister-in-law, Gilda J. Antonelli of Albuquerque; brother, Charles Pulos and wife, Patricia of NJ; and other relatives and friends. Mr. Pulos was born on May 4, 1926 in Wilkes Barre, PA to Peter and Josephine Nichols Pulos. He was a Fullbright Scholar and taught mathematics at Athens College in Athens, Greece for two years. Mr. Pulos then worked for IBM World Headquarters in New York before going to work for Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory as a Mathematician. He was a loving husband and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Services will be held Monday, January 7, 2008, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
