Angelita Duran Rendon, beloved and beautiful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Angelita is survived by her husband, Jose Rendon, Sr.; her three sons, Jose, Jr., and his wife Marie, Rudy Alvin, and Orlando; her four daughters, Josie Arvizu and husband Ernie, Diana Leyba and husband Lee, Sandra Rendon, Yolanda Chavez and husband Manuel. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; Carlo, Patrick, Eleanor, Kristal, Shannon, Christopher, Cecelia, Lenny, Francisco, Jerry, Daniel, Trish, Craig, Corey, Kara, Selena, Angelina; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mercedes Barreras and Maggie Telles; brother, Bobby Duran; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucita Valdez, Joe and Flora Martinez, Bernie Rendon, Mike and Cora Montoya, Armando and Lenette Rendon, and Consuelo Duran and Manuel Serna. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Pallbearers will be Shannon Brown-Rendon, Carlo and Patrick Rendon, Craig and Corey Stringfellow, and Daniel Sena. A rosary will be recited Sunday, January 6, at 7:00 PM at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, January 7, at 9:00 a.m. also at the church.
