William "Bill" Kimmons, 70, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, passed away on December 31, 2007. A determined and curious individual, Bill never allowed his disabilities to interfere with his zest for life. His interests included all things mechanical, children and animals. His family and friends were very important to him. Bill will be remembered for the smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye that could light up a room. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Kimmons, and siblings, Josephine and Richard Kimmons. He is survived by his loving sister, Mary Boning and husband, Terry; niece, Cherie DeFillippo, husband, Butch and their son, Chris; and nephew, Brett Boning, wife, Cassie, and their children, Caitlin and Bryce; and many who cared for Bill over the last fourteen years. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at Rio Grande Baptist Church, 2121 Gun Club Rd. SW with interment to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery.
