MARY ROSE S. Mrs. Mary Rose S. Maestas, 78, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 28, 2007. Mrs. Maestas is survived by her children, Rita Herrera and husband, Carlos; Pete Maestas; Molly Chavez and husband, Joe Ray; Joe Maestas, Dennis (Danny) Maestas; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Maestas; her sisters, Susie Saiz, Emma Armijo, Lydia Orabuena, Dora Ruiz and husband, Nestor; her brothers, Ted Sandoval and wife, Margaret; Joe Sandoval; Johnny Sandoval and wife, Rosie; Fred Sandoval; Samuel Sandoval Jr. and wife, Gloria; her six grandchildren, Richard Ambrose Herrera, Bridget Gutierrez, April L. Chavez, Vincent Robert Maestas, Valerie La Pore, Leandro Maestas; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Maestas was preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Maestas and her grandson, Joe Ray Angelo Chavez Jr. Mrs. Maestas was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Saturday at the Church from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment of cremains will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery .
