Gilbert Atencio passed away at his home Sunday, December 23, 2007. He was 94 years old. Gilbert was born in La Madera in Northern New Mexico. Visitations will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Carlisle Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, with a rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. also in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, where Gilbert will be laid to rest beside his loving wife Rose.
