Flora Springer went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2007 at the age of 92. Flora was born in May 3, 1915 to Abel and Eufemia Padilla in Albuquerque. Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Springer Sr. She is survived by her children, Phyllis Gonzales and Manuel Springer Jr.; her sister, Mercy Carrillo; along with three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all. Visitations will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2007 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the 8th Street Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception with interment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Gonzales, Lenny Gonzales, Michael Sedillo, Andrew Sedillo, Gilbert Vigil, and Leonard Sedillo.
