Charles "Bud" Scott passed on November 28, 2007 after a long battle with lung cancer. Bud was born on December 24, 1926 in San Francisco, CA to Susie and Charles Scott. Bud was an adventurous teen including serving a two year term in the US Navy. Bud married Esther, who he always called "the love of his life". Together they made a home first in Huntington Beach, CA, and later in Albuquerque, NM. Bud lived life to the fullest. Before his illness, Bud could be found on any given weekend hiking in the Sandia Mountains or sitting at a poker table playing Texas Hold'em. Bud was a great husband, dad, grandpa, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther; daughter, Kristy Traina and husband, Vince, and their children, Vincent and Ashlie; daughter, Stephanie Clark and husband, Joe, and their children Hannah and Emerson; son, John R. Scott; daughter, Debbie Faught and husband, Shawn, and their children, Jason and Anna; daughter, Sally Scott, and her children, Jeremy, Katie and Foster; son, Robert Scott, and his children, Keith and Cassandra; son, Steve Scott, and his child, Joshua; daughter, Deanna Scott, and her children Shanna, Sherri and Taylor; sisters, Henrietta (Tigger) Kershaw, Janelle McFall, and Charlene Whitmore; brother, Jerry Scott, and all of their wonderful spouses and children. Bud is also survived on his wife's side by his mother and father-in-law, Esequiel and Tina Gonzales; many sisters/brothers-in-law; and their wonderful families.
