Felix Garcia of Santa Ana Pueblo went home to be with our Lord on December 1, 2007. He was born January 4, 1926 at Tamaya. He served in the Army during WWII. He was an Alcoholism Counselor at 5 Sandoval Indian Pueblos, Inc. for 12 years before he retired. He was an avid artist and musician and his favorite pastime was baseball, especially the Pueblo Leagues. He will always be loved by his family and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Martha of 56 years; his children and their spouses, Leonard Garcia, Lorraine and Hank Gallegos, Paul Garcia; Cordelia Garcia; Pauline and Lee Armijo, Greg and Maryann Garcia, and Eunice Garcia; grandchildren, Derrick Garcia, Melanie and Sanford Martinez, Mallory, Amanda, Will, Cody, Vanessa, Nathan, Natasha, Joshua, Elijah, Marlin, and Raquel Armijo, Jeremy and Miranda Armijo, Jayleen, Sheldon, Jose, Gilbert, Richie, Reggie, and Christina; great-grandchildren Janiece, Cheston, Keisha, Nathan Jr., Reiyana, Janae, Izabella, Teyanna, Jeremy Jr., Adrianna, Jayden, Victor; sisters, Ethel Sanders, Frances Kee; brother, Robert Garcia; and numerous other relatives and special friends. He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Brianna Martinez and daughter-in-law, Marie Garcia. Prayer Services will be held at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, Albuquerque, NM on December 2, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. A private viewing will be held at home.
