John Cowan, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, November 30, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy; sons, Cy Cowan of Artesia and Charles Cowan and wife, Gail of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Jocelyn Cowan of Albuquerque, Melissa Cowan of Virginia and Andrew Cowan of Pennsylvania. John served in WWII in the South Pacific. He was president of Southwest Engine Company and worked at Sandia Corp. John was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Cathedral. Cremation has taken place.
