He was an Army Air Corp radio operator in WWII, and sent the weather report to the ship from which the Enola Gay took off. After graduating from the University of Dayton in 1950, teaching became his life-long passion. After he retired he enjoyed woodworking and fashioned grandfather clocks for his children. Bill especially enjoyed many years studying God's Word with the Men's Bible Study Fellowship. He will be remembered by his courage and grace during his battle with Parkinson's disease.
