Obituary for MONTOYA

Emilia Montoya, 78, died Tuesday, November 27, 2007. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sister, and dear friend. Emilia was retired from the City of Albuquerque as a City bus driver. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Hipolito "Paul" Montoya in 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Terri Montoya of Los Lunas, Thelma West and Amy Rodrigue of Albuquerque; sons, Jerry Montoya, Arnold Montoya and partner, Mike Kimbrell, all of Albuquerque, Herman Montoya of Oklahoma City, and Anthony Montoya and wife, Elaine of Los Lunas; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; five brothers; one sister; and numerous other family and dear friends. Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 29, 2007, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to Rosary. Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 30, 2007, 9:00 a.m., at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Josephs Dr. NW. Cremation will follow Services.
