Obituary for REGUSIS

Paul John Regusis, 86, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2007. He is survived by his children, Anthony Regusis, Timoleon Regusis and wife, Marie (Shiel), all of Queens, NY, and Gigi Regusis of Albuquerque; grandson, Lucien Corpolongo; and sister-in-law, Demetra Dengeles and husband, Douglas, of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary V. Regusis. Paul was born and raised in New York City where he graduated from City College of New York. He served in the US Army in Europe during World War II and then moved to Albuquerque in 1955 with his wife where he then raised a family. Paul was an artist and graphics designer and received a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in Mexico. He loved to travel with his wife and they together learned several languages, also living in India and Saudi Arabia. A Trisagion will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to Services. Services will be held Thursday, November 29, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St SE.
