Mary E. Flynt, born Maria Praxedis Evangelista Segura to Eusebio and Flora Chavez-Segura on November 24, 1926 in Old Las Vegas, NM, died Mary E. Flynt. She married Jim F. Flynt in November 1947. They had six natural children and one adopted. As a family, she and Dad made Albuquerque their home in 1950. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim; her son, Jim D.; her precious, DeeDee; her parents, Eusebio and Flora Segura; sister, Dolores; and brother, Martin Segura. She is survived by her children, who loved her very much, Geraldine (Bancroft) Brooks, Jeanne (Phil) Kubiak, Peggy Dumas, Mary Sue Flynt; and her son, Kenneth (Charlotte). Mom adored all the grandchildren, Michael Segura, Scott and Sarah Kubiak, Esq., Jeremy, Jeff and Dr. Chris Dumas, Suzanna and Terra. She was blessed with the love and attention from her three wonderful granddaughters-in-law, Heather, Nicki and Cathalina Dumas; and her great-grandchildren, Avery, Taylor, Corina, Joseph and Valerie Dumas. She will be greatly missed as she was a part of their daily lives. Our family would like to extend our love and gratitude to Rozina Bhanzi, who daily helped care for Mom and became her friend since the passing of our Dad. As we think of Mom we were so blessed that we were all able to be together before she passed. We are sadder than any words could express. The one thing we find peace with, is that Mom missed her sweetheart, Jim, so much that we can picture Dad with a smile and twinkle in his blue eyes -- greeting Mom with a "Coke" and "I'm glad your finally here, Babe". They are together now and that's all that matters. We cry for you Mom and will miss you but we let you go to be with Dad. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Saturday, November 10, 2007, 10:00 a.m. until service time.
