Joseph E. Wright, age 85, of Albuquerque went to be with his Lord on Friday November 2, 2007 at his residence. He was born July 31, 1922 in Hughesville, MD to Joseph E. and Agnes L. Wright. He married Virginia Lee on October 20, 1945 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Wright was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. Following his service to his country, he graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He moved from Wheaton, IL to Albuquerque in 1981 while working with Motorola Corp. and retired in 1992. He was an active member of Hoffmantown Church and a charter member of the Young at Heart Choir. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Virginia; sons, Joseph H. Wright and wife, Shirley of Orange Park, FL, Thom Wright and wife Loida; daughters, Nancy-Jo Wright, Wendy Coleman and husband, Keith, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Joseph H. Wright Jr., Thomee and Jonathan Wright; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Lee VanBogelen, in July 1997. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007, 2:00 p.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wycliffe Bible Translators, P.O.
