Joe J. Telck, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1954, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, November 1, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Margaret; daughter, Jeannene Marie Telck; son, Frederick Joseph Telck, both of Albuquerque; and granddaughter, Nichole Joy Telck of Chicago, IL. Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise A. Telck; and son, Robert Warren Telck, of Seattle, WA. He was born in Scammon, KS, June 1, 1922. His family moved to Aguilar, CO. in 1923, where his father worked in the coal mines. Joe proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. He was in the 546th AAA Battalion and in 4 major campaigns, Normandy, Northern France, Germany and Central Europe. After the war, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and retired after 36 years of service. He was a loving father and husband, a good neighbor, and will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, 11:00 a.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE.
