Harold Stuart McFeeters, 90, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 30 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Harold was born December 13, 1916, the son of Francis Alan and Mae Harper McFeeters in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He had been a conductor with the New York City Transit Authority before he retired. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus, V.F.W., and the American Legion. Harold is survived by his wife, Sophie McFeeters; children, Denis McFeeters of Spokane, WA, and Sandra Barela and husband, Paul of Rio Rancho, NM; seven grandchildren, David McFeeters, Danielle McFeeters, Derek Gladstone, Theresa Gladstone, Danika Barela Thomas, Dominic Barela, and Samantha Barela; and nine great-grandchildren, and nephew, Eugene Harper of New York City, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho.
