Obituary for TENNISON

Donald L. Tennison, 70, passed away suddenly Saturday, October 27, 2007 following a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, JoAnn Tennison and by his three adult children Don Jr., Carmen Gaye and Lisa Dawn who reside in Alaska. Also surviving him are his sisters Eva Gibbs, Hazel Gibbs and Sue Meister and his brothers Harold, Curtis and James Tennison, all of Illinois. The Air Force was his life's career and he retired as a Master Sargent. Working as a Presbyterian Hospital courier occupied him after retirement. His life's interests were varied and wide ranging; top competative skeet shooter, hunter, fisherman, gardener, cook, rock hound, ham radio operator, community watch volunteer, bird watcher and dog lover. As per his wishes, his ashes will be scattered at a private gathering. All of us that he touched will miss him.
