Elizabeth Harriett DeAveiro, 84, a resident of Rio Rancho since 1984, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Elizabeth was born January 18, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Elizabeth was a Rosarian, a member of the Catholic Daughters, and a Eucharistic Minister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew DeAveiro in 2005. Elizabeth is survived by four children, Elizabeth Jane DeAveiro and husband, David Land of Manhassett, NY, Mary Ann Chiarello and husband, Tony of Rio Rancho, Matthew J. DeAveiro, Jr. and wife, Victoria of Rio Rancho, and Edward R. DeAveiro and wife, Maureen of Rio Rancho; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and one cousin, Rita Miller of North Carolina. Visitation for Elizabeth will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho.
