Obituary for SOUZA

John Alexander Souza, 84, a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away on October 14, 2007. Mr. Souza is survived by four children, Patricia Persinger and husband, Richard, Carol Ellwood and husband, Charles, Drusilla Souza, Alice VIgil and husband, Harold; one sister, Agnes Yuen; brothers, Benjamin Alvarez, Jimmy Alvarez and wife, Jenny, David Alvarez and Kanak Victorino; his fiancee, Alma Lee; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Souza was preceded in death by his wife Muriel of 49 years. Mr. Souza was born in Ewa Hawaii and was a resident of Albuquerque for about 8 years before going back to Hawaii and joined the Coast Guard/Merchant Marines serving in World War II. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday morning in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel at 8:30 a.m. with visitation after 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Tony Souza, Jason Vigil, Charles Vigil, Abraham Vigil, Harold Vigil, and Gil Lucero. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
