Obituary for ENGLISH

Thomas English, 75, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away Friday, October 12, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; three children, Thomas English and wife, Brenda, Paul English and wife, Gail, and Nita English; one grandson, Joseph English; sister, Josephine Napoleone; and several other relatives and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Elena English; brother, James Spatafora; and sister, Elizabeth Loguercio. He was born in Manhattan, New York on July 2, 1932. After school, Tom entered the United States Air Force where he served proudly for twenty years. He was a decorated war hero serving in Korea at the end of the Korean Conflict and during the Vietnam War. Upon his retirement he continued to keep busy going to school, working on his second career as an insurance auditor. He enjoyed fishing, camping and doting on his grandson. Tom was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Saturday, October 20, 2007, 2:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
