Nora Patricia (Pat) Smith, age 71, a life-long resident of Albuquerque joined our Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. Pat was a loving mother and she cherished her grandchildren. She had worked at Dillard's in Albuquerque. Pat enjoyed the family gatherings and looked forward to the World Series Baseball Games. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent D. and Nora P. Degan; and her son, Gary Smith. Pat is survived by her two loving sons, David Smith and his wife, Ann of Belen and Brian Smith and his wife, Janice of Albuquerque; her loving daughter, Maureen Garrett and her husband, J P of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Jayne Smith of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Tammy and Matthew Smith, Brandon Garrett and his wife, Patricia, and Kelly Garrett, Kevin and Nicholas Smith, all of Albuquerque; step-grandchildren, Barbara Sue Jones and her husband, Paul of Portales, and Melissa Lechuga and her husband, Jacob of Belen; great-grandchildren, Austen and Hunter Jones of Portales, and Jadyen Lechuga of Belen. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley, on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Sam Sais officiating.
