Yvonne Sommers, born December 19, 1915 in Makoti, North Dakota, passed away on October 6, 2007. She is survived by her husband Robert; son, Sidney and his wife, Jacquelyn; daughter-in-law, Norma Sommers; granddaughters Leann and Amanda; sister, Renee Adams; brothers, Dale Harland and Ray Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mable Thompson; brother, Virgil; and son, Richard. She was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church for 40 years.
