Obituary for LERMA

Frances V. Lerma, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 8, 2007, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick R. Lerma and sister, Eusevia Chavez. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Chavez and husband, Larry; granddaughters, Brittania and Sharee; and daughter, Mary Frances Lerma. Frances is also survived by her sisters, Andrea Gilliam and Helen Cordova; as well as many nieces and nephews; and her cat, Lucy. Frances loved working in her flower garden and caring for her pets she had through the years. Thank You to all that brought food and provided support when Frances returned to her home. A special Thank You to Elisa Roybal, Debbie Frye, and Marcy Fouch for being there to assist the family through Frances' final journey. Also Thank You to Mr. M. Lucero for taking care of the yards through Frances' illness. Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 13, 2007 at the Gate of Heaven Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE, the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to Special Olympics NM Area 5 in Memory of Frances Lerma.
