Forrest D. Carter Jr., a resident of Corrales, NM, passed away peacefully at his home with his wife, family and friends by his side on Saturday, September 29, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Rebecca; sons, Jeffrey and wife, Amie and Forrest III and wife, Jessica; daughter, Rebecca Miller and husband, Christopher; three grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, and Aiden; and was blessed with many relatives and friends. Forrest was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest D. and Mary Carter. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 5, 2007, 7:00 p.m. and a Memorial Mass on Saturday, October 6, 2007, 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 9502 Fourth St. NW (Alameda and Fourth). Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Forrest's name to the Poor Clare Monastery, 809 E. 19th St., Roswell, NM 88201. Forrest's family would like to express a special thanks to those who lovingly took care of both Forrest and his family from Home Care Assistance and the New Mexico Cancer Center.
