Roy Edward Price, age 86, a New Mexico resident since 1992, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2007, born February 20, 1921 in Ansley, Nebraska, son of Charles and Francis Tvrs Price. Married to the love of his life Isla Joy Morgan Price for 57 wonderful years until she passed away in August 2002. Preceded him in death by his son, Gary Price, he is survived by his daughter, Corene O'Brien, her husband, Tim of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Sherry of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Timothy, James, Julie and her husband, Tim, all of Albuquerque, Nicholas of Rio Rancho, David of Oahu, Hawaii, and Michael of Salt Lake City, Utah; ten great-grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Coffman of Tempe, Arizona. Roy served as Engineer on B-17's for the 1504th Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from White Sands Missile Range in 1973. He loved dancing to the big band music with his sweetheart Isla, was a big sports fan, artist and enjoyed traveling. He was a wonderful, kind person and will be greatly missed. A special thanks to Barbara, and the staff of Presbyterian Hospice and Dr. Comunas and his staff for all of their support at this difficult time. Services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Interment will take place on Friday, October 6, 2007, 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
