Obituary for DROLET

Raymond J. Drolet, 60, passed gentle into that good night on Thursday, September 27, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Melissa; son, Jedediah; and daughter, Megan. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Reese and Josephine Alice Drolet. He was a third generation Indian Trader in Arizona and New Mexico, owning and operating with his family Shonto Trading Post and Carson Trading Post. He moved to Albuquerque in 1991 where he received a Masters Degree in history from UNM and was an instructor of history at CNM. Services will be held Monday, October 1, 2007, 9:00 a.m., at the UNM Alumni Chapel with parking west across University Blvd at Central United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington, NM.
