Ronald E. Smith, 75, passed away on September 24, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Cathy; a sister, Susan Nolan and husband, David, of Ft. Wayne, IN; nieces and nephew, Jane, Nancy, and David; and 12 grand- nieces and -nephews. Mr. Smith had been a resident of Albuquerque for 24 years. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque (past President), and longtime member of Tanoan Country Club, and was a retired Commander and aviator with the United States Navy. Ron wants to thank the Famous Wednesday Night Poker Group for all of the money he won and not so much for the nights he lost. A special thank you to Anna Kaseman Hospice for the outstanding care that was given during his last days. No services are planned. A Celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
