Loretta B. Helzer, age 70, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on September 25, 2007. Loretta was born November 30, 1936 in Ann Arbor, MI. to the late Lawrence A. and Doris (Chase) Brown. In 1958 Loretta graduated from Henry Ford School of Nursing in Detroit, MI. She worked as a nurse until 1986 when she was forced to medically retire. She was a member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church and for many years AAAA balloon club as well as many antique car clubs. Loetta is survived by her husband of 49 years, Don; her daughter, Anne; her son, Rory (Jennifer) of Winter Springs, FL; her sister, Marcia (Dan) Shively, of Orlando, FL; and two granddaughters, Gabrielle and Mikaela, of Winter Springs, FL A Memorial Service will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church on October 20, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Heights Cumberland Pres. Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE, 87111, Presbyterian Hospice at 8300 Constitution Pl. NE, 87110 or the MS Society.
