Gilbert M. Gurule, Jr., 57, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 26, 2007. He is survived by his parents, Gilbert and Corine Gurule; sisters and brothers, Eileen Montoya and husband, John, Everett Gurule and wife, Veleda, Pat and Cathy Gurule, Christina Herrera and husband, Leonard; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many friends. Gilbert was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Friends may visit Tuesday, October 2, 2007, 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Rosary will follow at 12:30 p.m. Celebration of Life Mass will follow rosary at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cordova, Mike Yardman, Robert Sprunk, Jeff Velasquez, Monte Taylor, Andy Ferriegel, Erik Velasquez and Steve Sprunk.
