Obituary for CHAPMAN

Virginia D. Chapman, 86, passed away on September 21, 2007 in the comfort of her home. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to William and Emma Ehret. Mrs. Chapman was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and was retired from Sandia National Laboratories. She was a WAVE in the Navy during World War II and she received an Art Degree from the University of New Mexico. She loved to cook and garden. She is preceded in death by her husband, George T. Chapman. She is survived by her children, Chris Tolendino and husband, Larry of Los Lunas, Kari Wier of Flagstaff, AZ and Tom Chapman of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Erik and Greg Tolendino of Los Lunas, NM, Jami Broecher of South Dakota and Christina Wier of Flagstaff, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Haidyn and Sierra Broecher of South Dakota; sister-in-law, Ginger Chapman; good friend, Jen Effron; and her devoted friend and companion, Lizzie, her Australian Shepherd.
