Jose Tarango, 82, passed away after a long illness on the evening of September 18, 2007, surrounded by his family, relatives and friends. Mr. Tarango was born on December 22, 1924 in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico and had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1949. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Ramona Grajeda de Tarango, who died on January 3, 1984. He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Adelina Salcido; his three daughters, Guadalupe, Silvia Rodarte and husband, Robert, and Ramona; his grandchildren, Tonya and Tina Rivera, Nestor Tarango, Katie and Gabriel Rodarte; his sister, Sofia Tarango of Parral, Chihuahua; his nephew, Genaro Garcia and family of Las Cruces, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews; the Bachicha Family and his Goddaughter, Teresa Gamez and family of El Paso, TX; the Hinojos Families in Albuquerque and friends and neighbors. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601 Wyoming NE. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Avenue NW, followed by interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
