Ronald Maxwell Carlsen, 92, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007. Ronald was born November 4, 1914 the son of Christian and Anna Thomsen Carlsen in Clinton, IA. He had been a Real Estate Agent before he retired. Ronald is survived by three children, Chris Carlsen and wife, Carol of Pinedale, WY, Cathy Ellsworth and husband, Don of Rio Rancho, NM, and Chip Carlsen and wife, Kim of Las Cruces, NM; four grandchildren, Alicia, Josh, Eric, and Tyler; and four great-grandchildren, Brendan, Merrik, Lola, and Lily. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. Placement of the cremated remains will take place in the National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2007.
