Marie Therese ("Terry") Jasper, September 5, 2007 passed away at home in Laguna Niguel after a brief illness. Terry was the beloved mother of Jane Jasper (Chaya Rakofsky), Julie (Steve) Lakins, James Jasper, and Jennifer (Dave) Brodie; and six grandchildren. Terry was the beloved sister of Fred, Vincent (Cathy), Anne, Ted (Diane) Von der Ahe, Gretchen (Jack) Krylow, and Tom Paige; and beloved friend to Darden Jasper. Terry graduated from USC where she was affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega sorority. A bonsai artist and enthusiast for many years, Terry served as treasurer of the California Bonsai Society until her death. She was also a member of Kofu Bonsai Kia and Golden State Bonsai Federation. She was a longtime supporter of Casa Angelica in Albuquerque and Devereaux Foundation in Santa Barbara, both programs for the developmentally disabled. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 33926 Calle La Primavera, Dana Point. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Casa Angelica at 5629 Isleta Blvd. SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105.
