Margaret Austin, age 92, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home to be with God, on Sunday, September 9, 2007 after a short illness. She was born in Tucumcari, NM on June 10, 1915 to Ruperto and Salome Rivera. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isidro Austin; son, Fred Austin; and brother, Nick Rivera. She is survived by 2 sisters, Carmen Vigil and husband Joe, and Josephine Gonzales. She is also survived by 10 children, Jean Montoya, Edwina Martinez and husband Max, Richard Austin and wife Gloria, Bill Austin and wife Mary Lee, Alberta Coleman and husband Les, Barbara Olivas and husband George, Steve Austin and wife Maria, Michael Austin, Lori Stone and husband Randy, and Judy Silva; 41 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, 7 p.m. Mass to be celebrated on Friday at 9 a.m. Arrangements by Direct Services.
